TxDOT Bluebonnet Sowing & Trash Pickup
October 24 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Free
Date changed to 10/24
It’s time to beautify our little stretch of Wise County again. Tiffany Westmoreland, our Director of Roadside Beautification, has received some Bluebonnet seeds from TxDOT. These seeds are being sent all across the state to help the Texas Roadways bloom in the spring.
Wear good shoes and pants (grass can be tall) and bring water and a hat. We will provide grabbers, vests, and trash bags. This is a great time to help and just visit with your pickup partner.
Meet at the entrance to Weatherford College, just north of Hwy 380, on FM 1655 in Bridgeport. It’s more fun than it sounds.
See you there!
